About

So since the beginning of 2008 I feel like I have restarted my life. That tends to be the case when you enter the Marine Corps. No one cares where you come from, how many years you have under your belt, what you used to do, or who you are. We all start at zero. Private. And for most of us, this opportunity to do so is welcome and never regretted.

Since January 8, 2008, when I started Boot Camp, I have been meritoriously promoted once, been the fastest in recent years to be promoted to Corporal in my Occupational Specialty, and constantly driven myself and others around me to achieve as much as we can. The opportunities out there are endless, and I cannot wait to come across the next one to prove to myself what I am capable of.

I love my job, but on the side I also have an undeniable love for ice hockey (and the Boston Bruins) and Formula 1 racing (following the Ferrari team). I am entranced by the skill, physical, and mental abilities showcased in those sports, and I aspire to that level of discipline and level of competitiveness. In my spare time, I try to fix my 1987 Saab 900 Turbo (named Morrighan) and constantly impress my friends with my seemingly bottomless depths of random knowledge.
